Welcoming Michelle Ma & 9D Breathwork Journeys

At NC Retreats Sacred Immersions, we believe healing is not something that happens only in the mind — it happens within the body, the nervous system, the breath, and the spaces where we finally feel safe enough to soften.

We are deeply honored to welcome Michelle Ma, founder of Body Breath Being, as a new facilitator offering transformative 9D Breathwork Journeys within our retreat experiences and healing containers.

Michelle brings a grounded, trauma-informed approach to healing that beautifully aligns with the heart of NC Retreats: nervous system regulation, embodied healing, emotional safety, and reconnecting with your authentic self through nature-based experiences.

From Survival Mode to Soul-Aligned Living

Michelle’s work was born through lived experience.

As a military spouse, mother of three, athlete, and high-performing woman navigating chronic stress and emotional overwhelm, Michelle understands what it feels like to live disconnected from yourself while constantly caring for everyone else.

Her healing journey led her through fitness, holistic wellness, meditation, yoga, and eventually into the profound world of breathwork — the modality she describes as the missing piece that changed everything.

Through breathwork, Michelle experienced deep emotional release, nervous system regulation, and a reconnection with herself that transformed not only her health, but the direction of her life.

Today, she guides others through that same process of release, reconnection, and reclamation.

What Is 9D Breathwork?

9D Breathwork is a powerful multi-dimensional healing experience that combines conscious connected breathing with immersive sound technology, guided hypnosis, somatic healing practices, frequency medicine, and nervous system regulation tools.

Far beyond traditional meditation, these journeys are designed to help participants:

  • Release stored emotional energy

  • Regulate the nervous system

  • Rewire limiting beliefs

  • Access deeper states of self-awareness

  • Reconnect with the body safely

  • Cultivate emotional resilience and inner clarity

Participants often describe the experience as deeply emotional, profoundly grounding, and transformational.

At NC Retreats, these journeys are held intentionally within nature-based healing spaces where participants are supported before, during, and after the experience with compassionate guidance and integration.

A Shared Vision for Healing

Michelle’s work aligns beautifully with the mission of NC Retreats Sacred Immersions: creating intimate, heart-led healing experiences that honor the connection between mind, body, spirit, and nature.

Together, we are committed to offering spaces where people no longer have to simply “push through” life, but instead learn how to slow down, reconnect, regulate, and heal from within.

Whether experienced during a retreat, ceremony, private immersion, or special event, Michelle’s 9D Breathwork Journeys offer a profound opportunity to return home to yourself.

Healing Happens in Safe Connection

One of the most powerful aspects of Michelle’s facilitation is her ability to create spaces where people feel deeply seen, supported, and safe enough to let go.

Her work especially supports:

  • Military spouses and servicemembers

  • High performers and caregivers

  • Individuals navigating stress and emotional burnout

  • Those seeking deeper emotional healing and self-awareness

  • Anyone longing to reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode

Through breath, sound, presence, and embodied healing practices, Michelle gently guides participants back into connection with their own inner wisdom.
