Frankey Craig’s Journey in Mediumship
Frankey Craig’s journey into mediumship development began in 2006 in Kent, UK, when she started sitting in development circles with a remarkable Scottish medium named Maggie Miller. Introduced by her Nana and parents, Frankey attended Maggie’s circles regularly, sometimes twice a week, for several years.
Maggie’s approach to mediumship training was both disciplined and powerful. She conducted physical mediumship circles in dark rooms, where participants observed physical phenomena and experienced spirit communication firsthand. Additionally, Maggie practiced trance mediumship, allowing attendees to witness her physical transformations and hear wisdom from spirit.
Maggie’s training was known for being rigorous and uncompromising. Those who knew her understood her no-nonsense, tough-love approach. Frankey recalls feeling as though Maggie was constantly pushing her off a metaphorical cliff—but always with the knowledge that Maggie had her back. Through Maggie’s guidance, many mediums, including Frankey, stepped into their power. Though Maggie never sought fame or recognition, her legacy lives on through the countless students she mentored. Now in spirit, Maggie continues to be a presence in Frankey’s life, offering encouragement as she teaches others the art of psychic and mediumistic development.
Influences from Other Esteemed Mediums
Through Maggie and her parents, Frankey also had the opportunity to meet the renowned British medium Glyn Edwards. Glyn was known for his profound teachings on mediumship and has books available on Amazon, compiled by Stephen Wollaston. At the time, Frankey was unaware of Glyn’s prominence but was deeply influenced by his audio recordings, which expanded her understanding of spiritual work.
Frankey had the privilege of sitting in circles with Glyn on several occasions. One particularly memorable moment occurred when, in the midst of a crowd of admirers, Glyn reached back and squeezed Frankey’s hand. In that instant, she felt a powerful transfer of knowledge, though it took years to fully comprehend its significance. Glyn’s teachings laid a foundational framework for Frankey, and today, she continues to integrate his wisdom into her own work. Glyn transitioned to spirit in 2015, but his legacy endures through his teachings and those he mentored.
In 2008, Frankey furthered her development at Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, UK, where she took a course called 'Mediumship, Mysticism, and Prophecy' with the esteemed medium Mavis Pittilla. Much like Maggie, Mavis was a no-nonsense teacher who pushed Frankey to face her fears head-on. Her mentorship was transformative, providing Frankey with invaluable insights into her own abilities. Mavis continued to evolve throughout her career, adapting to the times with an open heart and mind.
Mavis’s books and teachings are fortunately well-documented and available online. After her passing in 2022, Frankey found herself revisiting her own development journey. This reflection inspired her to refine her experiences into structured workshops and comprehensive manuals designed to support students on their own paths.
